5/4/08- The Quick Chick to Return to the High Banks of Woodhull on a Part-Time Basis

Sometimes luck has a way of making things work out.  As the 2008 season opened at Woodhull Raceway, Jessica was still searching for a ride that fit within her busy schedule of college, work and racing.  At the end of Woodhull practice session on April 12th, a drawing was held to give away a race-ready Street stock to benefit the Crooker family, who lost their home to a fire a few days before Christmas.  The name on the winning ticket was that of one Bill Clark, of Woodhull, NY.  Bill just happens to be Jessica's grandfather, so you know who his first choice for a driver was!  The car is currently being prepared at the Burgess Family Racing shop, and will available for Jessica whenever her schedule allows her to hit the high banks on a Saturday night.  The car will sport the number "I1", in honor of the car being won in a raffle.  Jessica and Bill have already lined up an impressive list of sponsors, including Wade's Building Supply, H.P. Smith & Son Insurance and Uncle Mike's Kennels.

The  engine bug bit once again as Jessica was unable to finish her 1st ever Pro Truck Tour race at Black Rock Speedway.  A big thanks to Mike Warren of H&W Motorsports for the opportunity.  Look for the Quick Chick to drive in a few selected races on 2008 Pro Truck Tour.
